I am not counting on enough people waking up, but hope springs eternal!

No matter what, I'll keep doing what I can to help a fire under the Dems in Congress. What the nation needs to see from them is 100% opposition to every single part of the Trump/Right-Wingnut agenda. Doesn't matter if they think they can "win." Standing and fighting, win or lose, is a "winner." They could finally prove that they actually HAVE some principles they are willing to go all out for. As Bill Clinton said, “When people are insecure, they’d rather have somebody who is strong and wrong than someone who’s weak and right.”

Unfortunately, it's an effort to look to the future with the kind of hope needed for action. So called Democratic "leadership" over the past few decades doesn't inspire confidence. Some of the thoughts that give me nightmares:
