Voting takes place over a month. How does your purple finger address that?

Giving folks time to prove their identity is a form of voter suppression. Challenge all the folks with brown skin then require them to present ID at the Board of elections = poll tax (costs money to take off from work, drive to the polling place, etc.) + even if it doesn't cost money, it makes voting more burdensome for those screened (likely pretextualy) as suspicious.

That is worse than even the current rigorous voting ID requirements - which at least imposes the ID requriement uniformly, even though it is not uniform in effect (it discriminates against older people, people of color, and people without means.
