all the fierce pushback against DFT from every direction today - SO FINE! Hours of hope and joy!

But then, cheeze, I felt bombarded by a flurry of hyper-bizarre and horrifying news items this evening... disheartened, I wanted to remind myself and DU that it's "just" a method used to muck with our heads, and - and we (I) don't have to fall for it. *sigh* even though I surely did (again!)

I know you know what you're talkin about, so i sure do appreciate your thoughts on this, Alex!
