64. I made the mistake of taking 2 semesters of organic chemistry...

...in 8 weeks of summer school. Damn near killed me. That was in the summer of 1973, and even now, I still have the occasional nightmare in which the course is almost over, I have done none of the labs or homework and I am desperately hoping that it is not too late to just drop the class without any sort of penalty.

Flute and piano here. The key of C is my friend. F, G and B flat are OK, too. Even E flat. I would much rather play flats than sharps, but I don't have a real good explanation for that.

When I was stationed in Japan with the Air force nurse corps, I got involved with the base amateur theater group. I did the choreography for Once Upon A Mattress. The group was very active, and our productions were generally quite well attended. We were puzzled when the ticket sales for Mattress were sluggish. Someone finally fgured out that the posters advertising it wee inadvertently misleading. It was described as a fairy tale for adults, and the base population was afraid it was X-rated. A different poster was hastily designed, and ticket sales picked right up.
