You CAN'T. It doesn't work that way. It isn't structured that way. You don't own the joint like you do with Trump Tower or Mar-a-Lago or the hotel down the street from the White House. And you certainly do not own the White House. You don't get to make a decree and it just gets done simply because you said so. You can bully boards of directors, fleece stockholders, intimidate employees, do all kinds of funky deals, buy people off, keep multiple sets of books, pull strings and NOT have to show proof or justification for what you want to do, but that's in the private sector. Where you can own stuff.

The government doesn't work that way! You not only don't own this, Donald. IT owns YOU. You are a SERVANT. You are a PUBLIC SERVANT. You SERVE at the pleasure of the voters - a majority of whom did NOT vote for you. You're NOT a king or divine ruler or dictator or czar. As Howard Fineman just pointed out on MSNBC - "you can operate by fiat" in the private sector, but NOT in the public sector. It's just DIFFERENT. A whole different animal.

Based on his reactions and his behavior, it appears he still doesn't get that. He's gonna have a very frustrating and unsatisfying time in this job he thought he wanted.
