right wing stooges who think the number was 6000, thanks to this hate crime. Next they'll say the holocaust never happened?

How can college aged people not know the number was way off? This got a lot of attention on television. Was this hate crime a way to downplay the horror of the holocaust? Like their artwork of people riding dinosaurs to show the Earth is 6000 years old, or have I finally lost it?
