in the trucking business when an incompetent driver (or company notorious for lots of mishaps - everybody knew about them) would be passing you there would often be CB radio comments about the truck/driver was "'bout to have a runaway" so watch out. Kind of the same thing, train sounds better in this case. I've fallen off the pavement before, if it's not a bad wreck you can often make your way back onto the pavement with little or no harm to equipment or personnel... and I have been in the driver's seat of a train too, there's no place to jump or run, if you leave the track, it's game over.
Dumbasses are so jacked up on pride and privilege that they would rather have a train wreck than actually consider someone other than themselves, even when the whole planet is at stake.
