I just wish I could find it or remember more details, but the gist was this:

It had one of those clever set-up titles, "oh look out, here comes the Dems in all their fiery wrath" (not remotely close, but the idea was that), and the set-up was leading the reader to expect that the Democrats were seeking justice for the many missteps and crimes of W and Cheney, but it turned out to be a lesson in how the Republicans operate when they are in the minority versus the Democrats.

It had a series of several photos of DOZENS of righteous politicians and their aides marching dramatically down the halls of Congress all with their arms loaded with huge boxes of legal files as they made their way to hold a high-drama press conference under the Capital Dome -- a press conference by Republicans about about Bill Clinton.

We need that same kind of show this very night. Or tomorrow. Yeah, it's a fantasy, but I do want to see dozens of Democrats on the steps with boxes of files and dozens of American flags, making speeches in righteous full voice, calling down fire from heaven about SPIES!, TREASON! TRAITORS!!, HEARINGS!, HATCH ACT! LOGAN ACT! , RUSSIANS!!!! CORRUPTION!!!!! AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL!

I WANT A CACOPHONOUS HUE AND CRY. I DEMAND TO HEAR THE WORD "TREASON" and "CORRUPTION" ON THEIR TONGUES DAY AND NIGHT IN INTERVIEWS AND SEE IT IN PRINT.

I want that singular question "What did the President know and when did he know it?" to be uttered by every elected Democrat in every single interview at least a dozen times EACH over the next week.

For once, I want to see the Democrats construct the frame of righteous indignation and act on our behalf in patriotic fury.

I am sick to death of calm. Some professor is saying we have a year to save democracy itself.

Now is the time to gird the loins and slay dragons -- not play "wait and see" in TV interviews, or worse, to play footsie with corporate donors and Republican colleagues at cocktail parties.
