And as horrible as Cheney was, Bannon, I believe, is functionally psychotic and seriously dangerous.

Trump doesn't prepare for anything, is shockingly dumb (doesn't know who Frederick Douglass was???), and merely enjoys the title and playing the role.

Bannon is the head of the serpent.
