10. If he became President, would that count as one of his terms?

I understand that a President can serve at most two 4-year terms. But what happens when a President is "appointed" due to external events. Pence would be eligible to seek re-election in 2020, but would he also be eligible in 2024?

My avatar would strongly suggest I'm not American. I don't claim to be familiar with all the nuances of your electoral system.
