... who has been conned - by a slick salesman, an internet con-artist, a "too good to be true" new boyfriend/girlfriend - then you know how this plays out.

The close friends see it and speak up, the family members recognize it and try to intervene - but the last person to realize they've been taken-in is the one whose been taken-in.
