To Whoever Wins the DNC Election,

Congratulations.

Now, get off your ass and get to work! Your constituency is not the large corporate fat cats. Sure, take the bucks, but they must be explicitly informed they are no longer in the driver’s seat. Your constituency is the people who are at the Congressional offices and Town Halls raising all manners of righteous holy hell. Your job is to catch up with them and the people who marched on January 21, 2017. Your job is to win back the Presidency, the Senate, the House, the governors' mansions, and state legislatures. And not just this set of election cycles, but for decades. A difficult task, no doubt. So get off your ass and get to work!

Politics are hard! Politics are retail. Winning politics are individual. Politics are reaching each voter, making them happy to donate time and money and energy making phone calls, knocking on doors, and of course, voting for our candidates and causes. We are going to continue going to Town Halls. We are going to march. Now, congratulations again and get off your ass and get to work! We already are! Catch up!
