as long as he or she resurrects Dean's 50 state strategy. Continuing the DLC program of spending DNC dollars only in safe districts is a recipe to keep making those districts fewer. If the party wants to expand, it will have to spend the money country wide.

This is the golden opportunity, when folks are more disgusted with the Republicans by the day. If they blow it, the party will eventually just fade and die.
