(109,208 posts)6. I think AM hate radio has a lot to do with it.
And in the last 5 years or so, hate radio has morphed into conspiracy theory radio. And people like Alex Jones have instructed their followers to harass Sandy Hook victims as if that horrible shooting never happened. And then you had Milo Yiannopulous telling his followers to harass Leslie Jones for her role in Ghostbusters. So add those two things together, and it's a perfect storm waiting to happen.
