A cremation costs far less than cardiac bypass surgery, you know. And what about all those old people getting joint replacements? Hell, a cheap cremation costs way less and opens up housing opportunities, too. 
(I add the sarcasm smiley, because people seem to miss obvious sarcasm these days.)
