43. I'd already given this some thought, as I am planning a vacation to Canada

and, if asked, my answer (in my best retired-teacher voice) will be, "Son, that little blue folder you're holding says I'm an American Citizen. So, unless you have a compelling legal reason to ask, it's actually none of your business."
