I am not condoning those words in ANY way whatsoever. I know that for me it is sometimes difficult to suppress the social programming to use misogynistic, homophobic, or racist words when very angry. I certainly give it my fullest effort to realize that those words have been used specifically to demean ALL women, minorities, and other marginalized groups. I think that internally I get that instant reaction, but have been able to filter it and realize that I need to focus on what I disagree with about the person's actions, motives, etc... rather than an arbitrary feature or specifically hurtful phrase. I think that ProfessorGAC stated well that you can just call someone a "liar" or say that they "disgust me" rather than use charged words that demean all.
