Obama could have almost destroyed 45's campaign if he had found a way to release the information. It was McConnell who stopped him by threatening him with interfering with an election, which was exactly what trumputin was doing.

Levin is trying to sell 45's excuses and alternate rea.ity that there is something wrong with the way information is being released instead of the substance of that information. How it is released is 45's distraction from the meat of the story: that he and his team conspired with our nation's adversary.
