15. If illegally obtained information can be used in court, why bother obtaining information legally?

What then is the use of the FISA court or a warrant?

I admit I know nothing about this, I am going on what was reported by someone I trust.

Even so, we are off the central question in my OP.

So, how the fuck do we explain Comey deciding to talk emails again 10 days before the election when Trump's people (or at least one of his people) was/were part of an ongoing investigation involving Russia and a cyber attack on this nation including an attempt at election tampering?

Even if the information was illegally obtained (which is pure speculation) how do we explain Comey prioritizing the email scandal above this information to such an extent that he interjects it back into the news cycle so close to the election?
