Trump was not wiretapped. It would not have been necessary. Intercepting the Russian communications is just routine and has been normal since the Cold War. If he or his people were talking to the Russians, it was surely swept up in the normal and completely routine NSA sigint.

From what I have been reading it is likely that any number of national intelligence agencies in europe found listening in to be in their best interest as well.

Was Trump foolish enough to believe that no one was listening?
