9. The GOP is no longer "conservative" since the rise of Palin and the Tea Party.

Conservatism used to mean something. Republicanism used to mean something. Until the GOP sold its soul for money and racism.

The Republican Party has purged itself of all moderate Republicans after the rise of the Tea Party. Which means, every Republican that is left passed their "batshit" litmus-test and is now complicit in the reshaping of their party.

The Tea Party destroyed the little bit of good that was still left inside the GOP, even after their embrace of robber-baron capitalism and the Southern Strategy.
And Trump has destroyed the GOP for good. They have all sold their souls for the sake of power.
As Mitch McConnel said: Trump's policies and the republican policies are the same.
