49. After this month I can try to be more active

Tomorrow my husband goes in to get his appendix out. The same appendix that burst Thanksgiving morning and put him in the hospital for three days with a raging abdominal infection. Hopefully all will go well and he will feel better fast. Just as he was over that his mother went in the hospital and died less than two weeks later. We've been a little distracted by all of this stuff. In two weeks we go downstate to spend my Mom's 96th birthday with her.

This Thursday night the local Indivisible group has a meeting and I hope I can attend. I recognize a few of the names from the 2008, 2012, and 2016 campaigns - we all worked together on those.

I tried to sign up for the ACLU group but you have to let them text you. Since I seldom use my cell phone that is useless as a way to contact me. I couldn't complete the sign up without providing my cell number so I bailed on them.
