We got Kaiser for the last 8 years and are really satisfied.

Never had any problems, not many out-of-pocket costs ($5 per prescription/$15 for office visits) and we email our doctors all the time. They always respond back quickly and sometimes fill our prescriptions without seeing us (no charge and quick). That saves us a bunch of time and them.

My pregnancy went from normal to a high-risk at 34 weeks, and, after my son was born, he was in NICU for 14 days. They accidentally mailed us the bill and after calling them, they profusely apologized for the mistake. We never had to pay a dime. If we'd have to pay for that, we'd be in deep, deep trouble.

I am really sorry that a lot of people don't have health insurance and that level of care. Health insurance is a human right!
