Remember Vouchers (Coupons) & Tax Credits Are Like Being Given A Car With No Motor. [View all]

They can tout all these vouchers and tax credits all they want, but they are pretty much worthless. They do not equal subsidies. In the end vouchers are just free money to the companies. They can still charge you what they want when there are no caps. And the new health care bill will allow companies to take 40% or 50% of the money for profit anyway. And CEOs will get a huge raise virtually tax free from it as well.

Think of it this way with regards to a retail sale. The store sells a shirt for $15. Then they run a sale for $5.00 off. When you go into the store the price tag says $20. So the customer thinks they are getting a bargain on that shirt.
