If YOU were Brownback, in almost ANY OTHER JOB in America, you would have been FIRED YEARS AGO for incompetence. Your boss would not have cared about your "radical philosophy" of what was supposed to work. S/he would have looked at your RESULTS, and frog-marched you to the parking lot the next day with a box in your hands.
