does not include you and me. It also doesn't include most people who voted for Trump. If you have an annual household income under $100K, you are not part of the GOP's "The American People." If your skin is not European white, you're not part of "The American People" by their definition. If you're a woman, LGBT, not a Conservative Christian or aren't part of the white majority, you are not one of "The American People." If you are a naturalized citizen, you're not part of the "The American People." If you speak English haltingly, you are not part of "The American People."

Finally, if you are a Democratic voter, you will never be part of the GOP's definition of "The American People."

So, take that into consideration whenever you hear a Republican refer to "The American People." You're not part of that group.
