It wouldn't surprise me at all if Stone was involved in the hacking. I don't think he's smart enough to have created the master plan, but that he was more likely a useful idiot to those whose bottom line was helping Russia.

I think if put under oath by a Congressional committee, he'd sell everyone out to save himself.
