If he had stayed in his job, he might have been the person to look into Trump's allegation Obama tapped him during the campaign. And he would have been very effective in that endeavor. I wonder if that is why Trump wanted him to go....
I just read his bio, and to say he is extremely impressive is a great understatement.

IMO, Bharara needs to get lost some place way out west and become an ambulance chaser.
