(29,624 posts)30. My issues in 2000 were more with the GOP, to some lesser extent for the voters.
What galled me the most was the fact that they stole an election in broad daylight, and literally did not care. The people who voted for him didn't care. He ignored security warnings and 9/11 happened, and they did not care. He started wars and they lionized him for it.
I realized in 2000 how much this divide existed, and it turned me into a much angrier person. It affected my health, especially my mental health.
This is the same thing to me, only this time there is a little less lipstick on the pig.
