12. Looks like the police state is starting in the White House

This is an authoritarian government and it begins with direct employees.

My initial question was "why don't they just quit?" But possibly they're terrified of quitting. They know too much and can't be permitted to go. Hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but I think it is a possibility.
