And it never will be. It goes to the heart of Trump's appeal, which curiously, many even on the left want to avoid which is whiteness.

I can sympathise with economic conditions hurting the vulnerable, but there is much to be despised in a world view that scapegoats immigrants and sees diversity as a threat.

Trump has elevated a type of politics that will make us poorer, and more corrupt while feeding hate and meanness to his most rabid supporters. It is deplorable, it is ALL deplorable.

It's unbelievable the walking on eggshells around this...Ask yourself why you're so keen on excusing away people who enthusiastically support it?
