He's first-rate. Wicked smart. I met him in 2002 right after Paul Wellstone was killed - he came to a campaign office where a bunch of us were phone banking for Mondale, who was substituted at the last minute but unfortunately lost to that snake Norm Coleman - the guy Franken defeated six years later. He was very friendly and encouraging and I'm so glad he represents us in the Senate now. I'm looking forward to what he has to say in the upcoming hearings.
