If they started getting arrested and charged with RICO conspiracy or treason, it could help sway public opinion which in turn could push Congress to impeach. If public opinion could defeat Obamacare, all things are possible.

After all, we could see a similar rift of moderate/honest Republicans who want to get rid of the traitor, and ultra-conservatives who just want to install President Pence and get rid of the sideshow circus Trump has wrought.

Tie up Congress 'til 2018 with all of that and hope to flip Congress into the blue category by then. And keep working on a few more Reps to flip and becomes Dems like that Hawaiian Congresswoman did this week. Just a few Senators changing parties would give Dems control to block any bad bills, and Pence may or may not be wililng to issue so many poorly written executive orders.
