17. You left out one critical word: fraudulently

If you do something to make a coin seem like something it's not - like...oh, throwing a handful of dimes in a silver plating machine then starting a rumor the Mint had struck dimes in pure silver and you just happen to have some for a dollar apiece - that's fraud and it's a federal offense.

If you run a coin through a souvenir-coin-pressing machine, print a picture of Donald Trump's third wife on a 50-cent piece (and how lovely it is they decided to cover up the bust of one of the few Democrats to appear on coinage!) or make cufflinks out of pennies, it's obvious you have produced nothing more than a souvenir, a picture of Trump's Other Woman, or jewelry and that's okay.

Besides, the Secret Service has bigger fish to fry than people marring perfectly good 50-cent pieces (and FSM help them if they're using 50-cent pieces made in 1969 or before, when they were made of silver)...Trump's minions are turning against the loyal opposition, next they'll be turning against one another, and finally they'll turn against The Almighty Donald.
