Let alone velvet and those damn corsets. Gah. I'd die, seriously. and it didn't get that hot in Toronto, and we did have snow and cold temps and blizzards. We haven't seen snow this year, and it's bloody 90° in June, for crying out loud. AND I'm close to the waterfront, I have no idea what the suburbs are like.
I'm not built for global warming. It's not my thing. My idea of a summer vacation is glacier bay. When everyone else is walking around in hoodies and shoving their hands in their pockets, I'm running around in a linen blazer or short sleeves!

I guess it was "88 feels like 90 today," but it was in the mid-70s inside the house.
