It's intrinsic to the whole Republican religious right war on consenting adult erotica, for one- they desperately want to lump everything together; consent, non-consent, material involving adults and not.

They have no problem with banning stuff, they just want to make sure they can ban all the nude photos, not just the ones shared without consent.
