This is going to go on for a long time too. The GOP controls congress, which means they control the pace and the form of the investigation.

They are not interested in it, which means that only political pressure will make it happen; political pressure meaning they fear for their jobs. This is a long term thing; the GOP needs to be absolutely convinced that NOT doing a real investigation will hurt them more than doing it.

That's going to take a lot of voters and maybe even some lost seats in 2018. The Democrats absolutely must make this a 2018 election issue---and win by doing so.
