Amazon.com Inc. is coming under pressure remove ads from right-wing news site Breitbart News Network.

The list of companies removing their ads from Breitbart has mushroomed in recent months to include Seattle-area brands, such as T-Mobile and Nordstrom.

A group of anonymous marketers known as Sleeping Giants have orchestrated the anti-Breitbart campaign, which has led 1,600 companies – including BMW, Visa, Uber and Lyft – to pull ads from the newspaper, according to The Daily Beast.

Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) remains the biggest holdout, the group says, because of the sheer size of its advertising distribution network.
