I went to a meeting last Saturday to see a candidate for Congress in my district. He is a genuine BernieBro. He, and many people, from a variety of age groups, were still whining about Bernie. He and several others used the terms "Progressive" and "True Progressive" as purity tests. They spoke about Democrats who were not progressive enough. I spoke up and argued with several of them.

He spoke about going to the grassroots organizations for help, including Our Revolution. He said that was the first place he went.

Fortunately, he is not the only Democratic Congressional candidate in my district. We are represented by a real teahadist, but there is a sane man who will be primarying the BernieBro. He is a medical doctor, and also has a PhD in political science. He seems mature and ready to represent us well, if he can win. This is a red district. But there are a lot of angry people here, too. We have to GOTV.

I am very disappointed by the vote in my county. I am disappointed that the chairperson of our county Democrats is also a true Bernie believer. She won't stop praising him.

It is time for people to grow the fuck up. Our democracy is on life support.
