47. Here in Germany (and Switzerland) it is serious offense to use a cell phone while driving.

If it's a first offense and you harm no one, probably the best you can hope for is a three figure fine, and surrendering your license for one or two months. The cops here do look out for this, and will chase you as far as necessary to catch you if they see you on a cell phone while behind the wheel. I think it's the same over in Holland, and it's probably the case in other countries, too.
