- Louise has a "history." Fine.
- She has theorized some interesting connections.
- The pieces seem to clearly exist.
- Take these back out to the real world as a possible pattern to compare new data/theories/findings against.
- See if her theorizing helps you put some additional pieces together in a big ugly complicated web that NOBODY, has, as of yet, connected all the dots on.

The eventual answer could be YES, NO, MAYBE ...
