my Satellite provider and downgraded my service so I no longer receive CNN, MSNBC, fox, or CNBC.

The so-called cable news outlets are mostly incendiary devices to get viewers. They are not that much different than the shock jocks like Howard Stern. They have gone out of there way to legitimize racism, sexism, and xenophobia, and as far as I am concerned they don't deserve my solicitation. They are less than useless.

There are plenty of avenues where I can obtain news without the bullshit, and that includes Newspapers, PBS news, BBC, etc.

Fox survives because they have viewers. Same with every other show on TV. It is all about ratings and money
