The 9-member SCOTUS is ***not*** in the Constitution. It's merely a federal law, passed by Congress in 1948. It can be repealed. It can be changed. **THAT** is the next step if Gorsuch is rammed through.

Repeal 28 USC 1.

Appoint additional Justices, as necessary, to nullify the right-wing bloc on the court.

FDR threatened it in 1937 (the wingnuts on the court backed down -- see West Coast Hotel Co vs. Parrish (1937) -- and he didn't have to follow through on the threat). This time, it has to happen for real.

If Gorsuch is confirmed, the 9-Justice SCOTUS should be history. Starting as soon as the 2018 elections allow.
