rather than declaring it "fake news" because you're upset someone said something to indicate Gabbard might not be an angel descended from heaven.
You know she took a secret trip to Syria and met with Assad twice. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/26/tulsi-gabbard-bashar-al-assad-syria-democrats
You know she is a defender of Assad, the guy who just dropped chemical weapons on his citizens.

You know she met with Trump during the transition, having being invited by Bannon who reportedly likes her. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/01/tulsi-gabbard-syria/508367/

A Lebanese paper has reported, based on sources close to Assad, that she carried a message from Trump. http://www.al-akhbar.com/node/275193

Despite keeping her trip secret, it has been reported that she met twice with him. The only dispute is whether she delivered a message from Trump.
Here you have her word vs. sources inside the Assad govt. That's a dispute, not fake news.
You can try to catch the repeat of Hardball to see the colorverage the OP referenced.
So my question is what do you find so unacceptable that you declare the story fake? It can't be her support of a murderous dictator or her meeting with Trump, which you must know about unless you've made a point of avoiding news coverage of her. Is it the idea of a message from Trump that is so painful to you? Is that really worse than Justifying mass murder?
