I was fixed on Walter Cronkite's every word. That seems like a lifetime ago, but not 74 years.

These men were authentic heroes, as was our then-president, JFK.

These days, dwelling a bit in the past seems a healthy diversion from today's horrors, and knowing how far to the bottom this country has sunk.
