And a wonderful subsidy program for the investors in Raytheon and GD. Though I don't think they're going to be hiring any more people at their munitions and parts plants; maybe they just won't lay off a bunch as they were planning.
Heck, we may have to break federal military acquisition regulations and go to some of these international firms - like maybe a Russian or Chinese manufacturer - for parts to replace the T-Hawks we expended. Wouldn't you just love to know your "smart missiles" had networking components and associated software made in Russia? I know Russia would...they need jobs for their peasantry to keep them complacent just as much as the U.S. does.

Hmmm. I see lots going on here than just a simple slap at a dictator or an attempt at political deflection.
