Some people don't see the expanded link, I understand. I'm not sure why, but maybe it has to do with their browser or something.
However, it doesn't seem to me to be worth complaining about. I don't use Twitter, so I clearly don't have a love affair with that website. If I click on an OP that is just a Tweet, I normally just hit the Back button and choose another thread. It doesn't really affect my life more than for a second.
My point is that the vast, vast majority of posts here are not Twitter links. It just doesn't seem worthy of complaints, especially exaggerated complaints.
