25. Casino gaming is changing everything - lots of money and lots of casino, hotel, gas, golf jobs

And cannabis will soon be changing everything as soon as Martinez is out. The native Americans have more money now. A few yrs back, a friend who lived in Isleta Pueblo said every member received $10,000 a yr from gaming profits. I recently went to physical therapy for a knee injury. My therapist, a native American, said Isleta paid for her education and her sister's education. Her sister is a doctor with no student loans.

Acoma Pueblo is particularly beautiful because it is on top of a mesa and the old pueblo has no electricity. This pueblo is mostly used as weekend homes and feast day homes - most people living in the valley below. Acoma is planning to open the largest cannabis greenhouse in the world - room for 40 million plants. There is a limit on how much pot you can grown in NM, but no limit for the pueblos.
