Liberals, even centrists, think this was a wag-the-dog op and there's absolutely no way that Trump grew a conscience. They hate him even more because of his "bomb to protect them, just don't let them in" hypocrisy.

Only moderate republicans that couldn't put party over country before because the party had become so fucked up like it because now they can. Only the token republican nevertrump pundits like it. And the media liked it but then realized quickly how they were played. Like a dog who made a poop and was excited to show you but then you're like "dude don't poop on the fucking rug, why would I be impressed with that?"
