WTF CNN: raving about Ivanka, Jared. Praising their kid singing in front of Chinese prez! [View all]

Honestly, I feel like our media has become the Putin network for Trump since the absurd (and imho gaslighting/pure wagging the dog) strike against Syria. They are attempting to gild SUCH a turd that Orwell would be embarrassed by the level of pure propaganda.

CNN is running a "report" about Trump's "incredible charisma," giving a glowing account of his meeting with the Chinese president (which in pics looks as extremely awkward and painful as the other meetings -- clueless idiot Trump stumbling through basic sentences and accomplishing nothing of significance) and how this likely played with the Chinese pres and his wife. I am wondering what others think?! CNN was doing a fantastic job (for the msm anyway) covering the Russia story and critiquing Trump's general barbarity.

Then they showed a truly disturbing (to me -- I am really not big on having very young children perform in front of other unfamiliar adults especially at a POLITICAL EVENT ON A NATIONAL SCALE) video of Ivanka's daughter singing in Mandarin in front of the Chinese president. They RAVED about Ivanka and Jared and how cosmopolitan they are and how Ivanka is so amazingly popular in China and that they are learning Mandarin together with their children. It was like a celebrity piece from People magazine.

CNN was raving about how "adorable" the video was (I was thinking that the poor child was terrified as she was compelled to SING for the Chinese pres and in front of all the cameras). It all gives me the creeps, and this is aside from how I detest Trump's politics. Ivanka and Jared were not elected by anyone. They didn't receive one vote. They are prancing around world leaders and our most critical political meetings as though they are the highest officials in the land and given Trump's bizarre behavior -- they are essentially running the country. And the extremely nauseating way in which our media, or at least CNN (and obviously Faux of course) is celebrating them as though they were elected in some landslide (and so it is okay for them to engage in our highest-level politics freely and without any restraint apparently) is really grotesque.
